Design by DuVäl Reynolds says...
To differentiate between the work and play spaces, and to add architectural interest, DuVäl used wainscoting and a faux column in the home office corner. “This makes it feel like two different rooms despite the open floor plan,” he says.
Next, he chose a comfy accent chair as a relaxation area, so tired eyes can get a break from screens, and a simple shallow desk to keep the small corner from
feeling cluttered. This cozy sage green velour accent chair is the ideal place to relax between Zoom meetings.
The classic task lamp gets a modern upgrade with a sleek silhouette and gold accents. Skip the solid throw pillow in favor of this painterly abstract cushion, perfect for punching up a side chair.
To finish his design, he added some color with an abstract indigo wallpaper, a teal rug, and some playful art. Zoom time!
